BioI am a Christian, and Evangelical, at that. I am a member of a small Presbyterian denomination. It has nothing whatever to do with Ian Paisley, and it's non-political as a matter of policy.
I'm female, 20-something and Northern Irish. This means that I may consider myself British, Irish, or both. I have a degree in physics, but am currently working as a software engineer.
As far as politics goes, I'm economically left-wing and socially moderate. However, this is Northern Ireland, where politics is even more foaming-mouthed than the norm, and contains guns. And Semtex. And baseball bats. If you want to romanticise Irish politics, please don't do it in my vicinity.
I am several different kinds of geek, and proud of it.
Fannish Stuff
I am apparently hard-wired to be fannish. I love books. I read omnivorously and fannishly, but I'm rather pickier about what I write. I've written Numb3rs, Miles Vorkosigan, Star Wars, Harry Potter, Doctor Who, and Pirates of the Caribbean fics. In my fandoms I love, or at least like, almost all characters and usually ship them as the canon goes. I tend to trust what authors say about their own work. Perhaps I am a sheep. I like it.

I shall be flattered, for I am attention-seeking. If your journal interests me I will friend you back. I don't friend everyone who friends me, as I already spend far too much time online as it is.
